Chloe and Michael had their wedding ceremony and reception at Braeside Chapel. If you haven’t seen it, check out the link. It is one of the best wedding venues on the Gold Coast. We were there for the ceremony, live canape music and right through to the end of the night.
Chloe walked down the aisle of the beautiful chapel to the timeless “Pachbel’s Canon in D”. The ceremony was handled beautifully by celebrant, Jo-Anne Rotunno. After they were announced as husband and wife, they walked out to “Dreams” by The Cranberries to a chapel full of cheering guests.
The wedding love couple where whisked away to have photos taken by Sinead from NeverMist Photography (we can’t wait to see the photos!). During this time the guests were ushered to the barn area for some drinks and canapes. I kept the guests entertained during this time by providing some live acoustic music and vocals.
After some time, it was time to enter the reception. Guests were seated and I formally introduced myself (I was the Master of Ceremonies). The couple and their bridal party were ready to enter and get the party started! The entire bridal party and Chloe & Michael walked into the room to Powderfinger’s “Burn Your Name”. The cheer was almost deafening from the guests. They were given a rockstar’s welcoming to their wedding reception.
After speeches, meals and all formalities out the way, it was time to start the party! Chloe shared a dance with her father to “Baby I’m Amazed” by Paul McCartney, followed immediately by the first dance of the newlyweds to “Nothing’s Gonna Hurt You Baby” by Cigarettes After Sex. The bridal party joined the couple half way through the song followed by everyone else. Then it was time to ramp the tempo up and party the night away.
It was a fantastic event with a lot of fun guests to make the night even more memorable. There were elements of live music, interactive games, magic and of course dancing. Once the dancing started, it didn’t stop until the very end of the night.
Thanks again for choosing us for your special day.
