Love On High!
Wedding of Thea & Shynie

Shynie and Thea-1

We just received some of the amazing photos from photographer Kelly Pack of the wedding of Thea & Shynie. The wedding was on the 9th of April 2016 at the beautiful O’Reilly’s Rainforest Retreat. This was an amazing venue with an incredible view over the luscious rolling green hills of the Gold Coast hinterland.

The ceremony area was set up beautifully with styling to match their personalities. Bright rainbow colours was the order of the day. The guests all looked amazing as we awaited for the brides to arrive. The brides walked down the aisle to “A Thousand Years” by Christina Perry. The celebrant (“Marry Me” Marilyn) then announce for them to share their kiss. Everyone loved having little rainbow flags on a stick to wave in excitement at this point.

Thea & Shynie then signed the registry. For this the girls chose to have “You & I” and “All About Us” by T.A.T.U. Following this, it was time to celebrate as they walked back down the aisle to “Walking On Sunshine” by Katrina and the Waves whilst wearing the biggest smiles. Even with all the power of our Bose Compact system we use for ceremony music, it was almost drowned out by the cheers of the guests.

Whilst the brides were away having photos with Kelly, the guests enjoyed some chilled vibes, good company and some cool drinks. The atmosphere was enjoyable and the beautiful views made it a wonderful afternoon.

Everyone made their way into the reception area which was highlighted by our uplighting around the room in all the colours of the rainbow. Everyone was upstanding and again letting the brides know how much they were loved by their cheers as they entered to “Let’s Get Loud” by Jennifer Lopez. After dinner, it was time to cut the cake. This was done to “Thinking Out Loud” by Ed Sheeran.

After all speeches and dinner was finished, it was time to dance! Everything started with Thea dancing with her step dad and dad to “Stand By Me” by Ben E King. Shynie then danced with her dad to “Butterfly Kissed” by Bob Carlisle. It was then time for the brides to share their dance. They danced to a remixed version of “All Of Me” by John Legend. Shortly after, everyone was on the floor to dance the rest of the night away.
