It was a very windy Friday in Toowoomba, but the sun was shining and the birds were singing. All set with the beautiful backdrop of Preston Peak Winery, it was a fantastic day.
The ceremony was in the beautiful outdoor chapel. The celebrant was the amazingly talented Brendan Anning.
Sian walked down the aisle to “Mirrors” by Justin Timberlake. An unusually upbeat choice for the processional, but it suited their personalities.
The first signing song was “Forever” by Ben Harper followed by “Beautiful Day” by U2.
After they were announced as husband and wife by Brendan, they walked back up the aisle to “Lay It On Me” by Rudimental.
Following their ceremony, guests moved up the the beautiful bar area of Preston Peak to enjoy mixing, mingling and some canapes. This is when I played my acoustic guitar and sang a few songs to help create a great ambiance for the guests.
We included our uplighting to the reception room to further enhance the already beautiful room to make it breathtaking.
It was time for the bridal party and Sian & Craig to enter.
The bridal party entered to “Family Affair” by Mary J Blidge and Sian and Craig entered to “The Way You Move” by Outkast.
Over dinner, I performed some jazz vocals whilst guests dined and enjoyed the atmosphere.
When it was time for cake cutting, the couple chose “Into You” by Fabulous.
Sian danced with her dad to start things off and was joined shortly after by Craig and his mum to the tune of “Stand By Me” by Florence & The Machine.
For their bridal dance (under the beautiful chandelier in the bar), they chose “Simple Love” by Luke Pickett.
Following this, one of their friends sang a live version of “Diamonds” by Rihanna.
The dance floor was great with everyone having a great time.
Sian threw the bouquet to all the unmarried ladies to the tune of “Drunk in Love” by Beyonce followed by Craig throwing the garter to the eligible bachelors to the tune of “Thong Song” by Cisco.
For their final dance of the night, they chose “Soco Amaretto Lime” by Brand New. Then a farewell archway was formed and the couple exited to “Regulate” by Warran G.
Thanks Sian & Craig for allowing me to be a part of your amazing day.
