Choosing Wedding Songs

Choosing Wedding Songs – Whose job is it?

When it comes to the music for the night of your wedding you will find many DJ companies will put the responsibility of choosing wedding songs back on you. They ask you to provide a huge list of all the songs you want to hear on the night of your wedding. What do you want to hear over dinner? What do you want to hear at dancing time? What do you think your guests will want to hear?

Seriously?

As if you don’t have enough already on your mind and things to plan! Then you deal with a DJ that expects you to provide them with all the music you want? No. It should not be your responsibility. Our clients love us because we take all that responsibility for them and simply ask for the very basic songs that we need to know, such as –

  • Walking down the aisle song
  • Signing of the registry songs
  • Walking back up the aisle
  • Grand entry
  • Cake cutting
  • The bridal dance
  • Cake cutting
  • Final song

Some of our clients don’t even worry about all of those and get us to pick them too!

Along with these basics, we love our clients to give us a few extra ideas of the type of music they like so we can sprinkle their personality into the event. We have found that with our experience of having done thousands of weddings, we have gained a very good insight into what works to get your guests up and having a good time and what doesn’t.

But expecting that the role of choosing wedding songs is your job?  No, that is just too much for any poor couple already under the stress of planning a wedding. So, if you hire a company that gets you to fill in all the music, guess what happens if the night doesn’t go well? They blame YOU! After all, YOU picked the music right? They wipe their hands of all responsibility and walk away.

We don’t operate like that. We have a guarantee … If your wedding reception is not THE most AMAZING wedding reception you have ever been to, we will give your money back!

Let us send you more information …
