We are proud to have been nominated for the highly contested title of Australian Wedding DJ of the year award at the 8th National Designer of Dreams awards which are held by the Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA).
It is thanks to all the amazing wedding couples and their wonderful support of us that has made it possible for us to be consdidered for this prestigious award.
We won the Queensland Wedding DJ of the year title in 2014 and came very close, finishing runner-up in 2015 and again in 2016. We hope to this year take out the National award and the Queensland award in a clean sweep.
Of course, just being nominated for this amazing award is extremely humbling and we appreciate the incredible support all of our past couples have given us towards achieving these goals. To sit with the shortlist of only 15 DJs from across all of Australia is an honour. Even if we finish 15th, we still see that as a fabulous achievement to rub shoulders with the best of the best this entire nation has to offer when it comes to wedding DJs.
The awards ceremony for the National Designer of Dreams will be held at Jupiter’s Casino on the Gold Coast on the 28th of March.
We will keep you posted on where we finish in the rankings of the best of the best wedding DJs from all around Australia.
