An awesome wedding for an awesome couple.
The wedding of Laura & Erik on the 25th of May was a lot of fun.
Everyone danced almost all night, from the moment the bridal dance was finished, the dance floor was pumping till the very end.
Laura and Erik had their wedding at Coolibah Downs, and chose to have me from the start of the day for ceremony sound right through to the end of the night.
They also opted for my live music option. I was honoured to play and sing live a version of “To Make You Feel My Love” (which was written by Bob Dylan but made popular by Adele) as Laura and her bridesmaids walked down the aisle. I also played a live version of Ed Sheeran’s “Perfect” for the signing of the register.
When celebrant, Shane Vincent (who did a fantastic job), announced them as husband and wife, they walked out to “Signed, Sealed & Delivered” by Stevie Wonder.
Whilst they were away getting their photos taken (which we can’t wait to see), with the very talented Leah Follett, I sat up on the lawn area and played live acoustic guitar and sang as the guests enjoyed some canapes and drinks. The atmosphere of this afternoon was superb. A beautiful day weather wise and some of the loveliest guests I have ever met.
Shortly after guests were seated, it was time for the bridal party entry. They entered the room to “Marry You” by Bruno Mars as the place erupted in applause and cheers for the newly married couple.
The cake cutting song was “How Sweet It Is” by James Taylor.
Their bridal dance shocked and amazed everyone as it was evident they had practiced this very well. It was amazing to watch as they danced like professional dancers to “Teneriffe Sea” by Ed Sheeran. Straight after this song the dance floor was opened to everyone and it wasn’t empty all night. Everyone had such a great time and it was great to watch the dance floor antics.
