Amber & Scott had their wedding ceremony and reception at Austinvilla Estate. This venue provides the opportunity to have a ceremony in their onsite chapel as well as entertain guests with their outdoor lawn bar area and of course the reception room.
There was some issues with the LOVE letters so we uplit them with our yellow uplighting, which actually ended up looking better and less intrusive than the bright white of the usual LOVE sign. (If you want people to dance, a big tip is to switch off those bright love letters because people don’t like to dance in bright light).
We also added our ambient uplighting around the rest of the room. Yellow works well at Austinvilla as it helps to bring out the beauty of the bricks and create a feeling of warmth and ambience.
Amber and Scott were married by Tarnya Bennett from I Do, For You ceremonies. The music for the ceremony was provided by the amazing Naomi Tereshima and her harp. Following this, the guests went to the outdoor bar area where they enjoyed the music of one of Amber’s friends whilst I walked around and entertained some of the guests with some close up magic.
When it was time for the couple to enter the reception, they chose to have the bridal party enter to “Love Shack” by the B-52s and Amber & Scott entered to “All You Need Is Love” by The Beatles.
They cut their amazing cake to “Grow Old With You” from the Wedding Singer Soundtrack.
Before Amber danced with Scott, she shared her first dance of the night with her father to a beautiful song called “Dance With My Father” by Luther Vandross.
Their first dance for the newly weds was to “Can’t Help Falling In Love” by Hayley Reinhardt., then after this the dance floor opened for everyone to join them for “I’ve Had The Time Of My Life” by Bill Medley and Jennifer Warnes.
The dance floor wasn’t empty all night … and we went right through till midnight!
Even Amber had a spin on the decks …
Well … for a while anyway! Looks like it became a bit too difficult! Back on the dance floor …
Amber and Scott left with a sparkler tunnel exit to “Love is in the Air” by John Paul Young.
