Wedding Hacks – Top Tip For Dance Time

Wedding Dance Tips

Smart Tips for a Safe and Enjoyable Wedding Dance

One of the highlights of the wedding is kicking up your heels with family and friends and having a good old boogie. However, many venues have a rule about both glassware on the dance floor and having your shoes off.

With good reason. It’s not uncommon to hear the high pitched unmistakable sound of glass shattering as it hits the floor. Couple this with people who might have taken their shoes off to be more comfortable dancing and it’s a recipe for disaster.

Nobody wants to see one of their guests leaving with cut feet, or even in an ambulance. This certainly would bring the mood of the event down.

It’s common to have guests complain that they can’t take their shoes off, so occasionally venues will allow it as long as the no glassware on the dancefloor is strictly adhered to. The problem is, this rarely works. As guests have a few drinks, they simply forget to not take the glass onto the floor.

There is a perfect solution though!

You CAN have your cake and eat it too.

The best solution we have seen is a big basket of thongs (aka flip-flops) purchased by the wedding couple and placed right near the wedding dance floor for guests. This enables guests to comfortably kick off their shoes and wear a pair of thongs onto the floor whilst still enjoying a drink in their hand.

Consider this wedding hack for your wedding and you will have everyone having a great time, without aching feet and dancing the night away.
