NikNat Entertainment – Queensland’s #1 Wedding DJ
As of the 22nd of July, we can officially call ourselves the best wedding DJ team in the state by winning the prestigious 16th annual Australian Bridal Industry Academy award for Wedding DJ. We are very proud to have provided our services to so many wonderful bridal couples over the past year, who in turn voted for us to help us achieve our 99.12% score to take out the first place for the State.
July has been a very busy month for the entire wedding industry. Not because we are flooded with weddings, but because it is awards season for the wedding industry professionals. July is the month that the wedding industry acknowledges excellence during this time and NikNat Entertainment were thrilled to be included as recipients of three awards this year.
The ABIA Awards
The industries’ most recognised and well regarded award is without a doubt the ABIA awards night. The Australian Bridal Industry Academy (ABIA) is the recognised industry standard body that provides bridal couples with a means of providing a blind vote score for the suppliers on their special day. Couples vote on their overall experience, pricing, professionalism and performance for their wedding suppliers. These votes are tallied at the end of each financial year for every wedding the suppliers have been involved with. NikNat Entertainment was very happy to be in the top 10 finalists in 2013 and we were completely honored to be the winners for the 2014 award thanks to the beautiful couples we have had the privilege of being a supplier for. Thanks to all the bridal couples who voted for us! You are the reason we love our jobs so much!
The WEOA Awards
Newcomer awards to Queensland wedding award scene this year is WEOA (Wedding Events of Australia). This one is different in that it is not the bridal couples that vote, but a panel of industry experts who assess a business to select a winner. Whilst we did not win this one this year, we were honored to be the only DJ company from the Gold Coast to be considered for the award.
Gold Coast & Hinterland Weddings Bride’s Choice Awards
This award sees brides secretly select and vote for one supplier that stood out to them on their special day. This is unlike the other awards in which each service type is split into various categories, rather it takes the entire wedding industry as a whole. From this, the Top 25 wedding industry suppliers are then named from the entire wedding industry providers across the Gold Coast. We were again absolutely honoured to be the only entertainment company to achieve this award.
