Why am I different to other DJs you could choose for your day?

I really do not like the term Wedding DJ Gold Coast. What I can provide to your day is so much more than just ‘a DJ’. To me, there is nothing more boring for you or your guests than a DJ that just stands there and plays music.

Instead, I create an atmosphere and include entertainment elements to provide a true entertainment experience that will have your guests talking about your wedding being the best they have ever been to for years to come.

Music and entertainment as a whole plays such an important part of our lives, it helps shape our memories and as such I place such a high importance on it for you.

From the moment that you arrive at the ceremony to the time that you wave goodbye to your guests, YOUR memories of the day are created. You want the soundtrack to your day to not only complement everything that is happening on the day but to also bring back the feelings and emotions you experienced in the years to come!

Well, we can’t answer what other wedding DJs on the Gold Coast provide, but we can tell you that at NikNat Entertainment we don’t believe that entertainment starts at the reception, but plays a crucial part in your entire day. We arrive to be there to look after your pre-ceremony music, canape entertainment as well as the reception. We don’t have an hourly rate, when you book us you have us for the entire day!

How much does it cost to hire a Wedding DJ on the Gold Coast?

DJ services on the Gold Coast can range from only a few hundred dollars to a few thousand dollars. We don’t have a standard pricelist, because YOU are not having a “standard wedding”. You are having YOUR wedding and we take the time to tailor each and every quote based on the inclusions you want (and more importantly NOT charging you for those you don’t want).

What should I consider when choosing a Wedding DJ on the Gold Coast?

It’s important to read reviews. Check Google reviews of any DJ you are considering hiring to see what other past clients have had to say about their experience. We also believe it’s important to hire a DJ company that will meet you before you make any decisions. Why meet? Because your DJ will be staying all night and interacting with your guests, why take the risk of hiring someone that you don’t feel comfortable with that could make you and your guests feel uncomfortable?

Any good DJ should be able to accommodate requests, however not all will. We have heard of some DJs that refuse to take requests. We are more than happy to take requests from you and your guests and be the “gate keeper” that filters out any songs that might not be appropriate or just might not be songs that will work.

It’s not unusual for our services to be booked out for certain dates up to 2 years in advance! However, having said that there are also many dates still available as little as 4 months in advance. It’s best just to check with us for our availability for your date. If we are not available for your day we are happy to recommend you to other providers that might be suitable.
